Rebekah Martin Burchfiel
Rebekah’s practice concentrates in the areas of estate planning, trust and estate administration, trust litigation, and small business formation. Prior to her career in estate planning, Rebekah’s practice focused on civil litigation. This background experience helped her develop a detail-oriented approach to applying the law and a unique perspective on risk reduction and planning for the future.
Rebekah received her Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma in May 2017. During law school, Rebekah was a Dean’s Leadership Fellow, a May M. Walker scholar, a University of Oklahoma Merit Scholar, a Phi Delta Phi member, and a Ruth Bader Ginsburg Inn of Court member. Rebekah also served as Writing Competition Editor for the American Indian Law Review and a Class Mentor to the Class of 2018. Her law review comment was selected for publication. While pursuing her Juris Doctor, Rebekah volunteered for Legal Aid of Oklahoma and interned with the City Attorney’s Office for the City of Norman, the Criminal Appeals Division of the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office, and a civil litigation firm. She received a BA in Political Science with a minor in International Studies from the University of Oklahoma in May 2014, where she graduated cum laude and was selected as a “Big Woman on Campus.”
Rebekah grew up in Alva, Oklahoma, and now lives in Oklahoma City with her husband and their son. She is an active member of the Oklahoma City Midtown Rotary Club.
